An excellent opportunity is available for a dual‐trained Staff Specialist in General Medicine and Infectious Diseases to join a modern regional health service within the Hunter New England network.
This position offers a balanced split across General Medicine (0.5 FTE) and Infectious Diseases (0.5 FTE), providing both breadth and subspecialty depth within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
The Role
You Will Provide Contemporary, Evidence‐based Specialist Care Across
* Acute inpatient General Medicine
* Infectious Diseases consultation and management
* Multidisciplinary case discussions
* Clinical governance and quality improvement
* Teaching and supervision of junior medical staff

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
* Dual Fellowship in General Medicine and Infectious Diseases
* OR be due to attain Fellowship within the next 6 months in both specialties
* Eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA
