Title
Site Engineer Electrical
Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as an Electrical Site Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the construction of the project, ensuring quality control and management of work flow, on‐site activities, materials and equipment on site. This role is based on site on the Western Sydney Metro project – Western Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate electrical works across construction and commissioning phases
* Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
* Support testing, inspections, and commissioning of electrical systems
* Supervise subcontractor performance and provide technical guidance on‐site
* Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and support project handover into operations
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Electrical Engineer).
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – preferred.
* Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred.
* 3+ years' project delivery experience in construction (Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor environment preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and relevant codes.
* Experience managing subcontractors, technical submittals, and QA/commissioning processes.
* Experience in rail or large public infrastructure projects desirable.
