About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Documents and Settlement Officer to join our team on a full-time, 18‐month contract, based at our Townsville Head Office.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced administration professional who enjoys working with detailed documentation, compliance requirements, and process coordination. You will play a key role in supporting the lending function by ensuring loan documentation and settlement activities are prepared, checked, and processed accurately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements.

Reporting to the Credit Origination Manager, you will provide high‐quality administrative and technical support across the end‐to‐end documentation and settlement process. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities will be critical in ensuring timeframes are met and quality standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities

In this administrative-focused role, you will be responsible for:

* Preparing, processing, and executing consumer and commercial loan documentation within strict timeframes
* Coordinating settlements, including attending local settlements and liaising with external parties for remote settlements
* Registering mortgage documentation and completing PPSR registrations accurately and on time
* Liaising with solicitors and internal stakeholders to support the preparation of complex loan documentation
* Ensuring all documentation complies with relevant legislation, industry codes, Board directives, and internal policies
* Maintaining accurate records and providing reliable administrative support to branches and internal teams
* Managing complaints and breaches in accordance with policy and escalating matters when required
* Supporting audit and compliance activities through thorough documentation and second-line checks
* Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying administrative and process efficiencies

About You

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator who takes pride in accuracy, compliance, and professional service delivery. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

* Strong administrative experience in a documentation-heavy or regulated environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams, Members, and external stakeholders
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail
* Sound computer skills, including confidence using the Microsoft Office suite
* A collaborative approach and commitment to supporting team outcomes
* The ability to follow policies, procedures, and legislative requirements precisely
* Experience in mortgage documentation, settlements, or consumer lending (highly regarded but not essential)
