The Opportunity
We're seeking a System Administrator to support, maintain, and improve customer environments across Aruba-based networks, Fortinet security, cloud platforms, and on-prem systems. This is a hands-on, varied technical role with full WFH flexibility.
You'll work directly with clients, solve escalated issues, contribute to project work, and play a key role in keeping their environments operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer, troubleshoot, and optimise customer Aruba switching environments, including VLANs, routing, and network segmentation.
* Configure, manage, and support Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
* Maintain and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and related services.
* Support and administer Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune.
* Proactively monitor network and system performance, resolving issues before they impact clients.
* Participate in project work including network refreshes, firewall upgrades, cloud migrations, and infrastructure optimisation.
* Provide excellent communication and client-focused support in a multi-customer MSP environment.
Skills & Experience
Networking:
* Aruba switching (CX/ProCurve)
* Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) including SD-WAN, VPN, and security policy management
* VLANs, routing fundamentals, wireless troubleshooting
* Network monitoring tools and performance optimisation
Systems & Cloud:
* Windows Server Administration
* Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy
* Office 365, Intune, Exchange Online
* Azure IaaS (VMs, storage, identity)
MSP Experience:
* Supporting multiple customer environments
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Working within SLAs and ticketing systems
