Wonil Hotel Perth offers 66 apartment-style hotel rooms and West Kitchen & Bar, an 80-seat restaurant with a Western Australian focus, plus an outdoor terrace for events up to 100 guests. Located in Perth along the Swan River, the property invites guests to explore local culture and surroundings. 
Position 
Sales & Events Manager — you will bring experience from events and/or sales in a hotel or hospitality environment to nurture and develop current and new business opportunities. You will drive proactive sales, build brand awareness, and foster partnerships while promoting the Wonil brand.

Primary Responsibilities 
- Forge and nurture positive connections with clients, event planners, and organisers to secure bookings and foster repeat business 
- Explore new business opportunities across all market segments through thorough market research 
- Offer revenue and room night data and conduct regular quarterly reviews with key account contacts 
- Craft customised event proposals and finalise contracts with clients, including terms, pricing, and event specifics 
- Negotiate terms and conditions for RFPs, groups, and events 
- Be the face of Wonil, representing the brand at trade shows and networking events, and conduct site inspections with clients 
Skills and Experience 
- Demonstrated experience in Conference & Events or Sales Coordination, with strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills 
- Deep understanding of the local market, with ability to innovate and establish new relationships 
- Passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and building guest loyalty 
- Creative mindset to design unique event experiences and find innovative solutions to challenges 
- Proficient in negotiating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to achieve favourable terms 
- Can-do approach with attention to detail and exceptional time management 
- Flexible availability to accommodate shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays
