The Opportunity
We are looking for passionate and motivated candidates to join an eligibility list of TAFE Services Coordinator (TWL6) candidates at our Coffs Harbour Education Campus. Candidates who are successful in obtaining a place on this list will be eligible for TAFE Services Coordinator (TWL6) vacancies over the next 18 months, including leave coverage and permanent / temporary positions that arise.
Currently, we have a full time, temporary position available (up until June 2024) which will be placed from this list.
A day in the life of a TAFE Services Coordinator may look like this…
Representing TAFE NSW as ‘the face’ of our Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC), this role is all about stakeholder engagement and management. A large part of your day will see you linking in with the CHEC community, engaging and building trusting, authentic relationships, with students, the delivery team and CHEC partners – Southern Cross University and Coffs Harbour Senior College.
Building on your current local knowledge, you will be an active listener – taking details and ideas on how TAFE can enhance the customer experience at CHEC. You’ll have good networking skills, and a flexible approach to your workday, allowing you to balance campus operations and stakeholder management.
About you
To be considered for this role you will need to meet the following essential requirements:
1. Diploma (minimum) in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
2. Demonstrated success in building rapport with a wide range of people
3. Demonstrated success in monitoring and delivering services which meet customer needs
4. Ability to work flexible shifts to align with campus operating hours (including evenings)

For ongoing positions in the NSW Public Sector, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
For temporary positions, you will require a visa that gives you permission to work in Australia.
An eligibility list, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this recruitment.
