Butcher Manager - Join the Wandilla Team in the Balnarring store
We're looking for a hands-on Butcher Manager to take charge of our Wandilla Balnarring store – someone ready to treat the space like their own and lead with passion, skill and creativity.
This is a full-spectrum role, perfect for an experienced butcher who thrives on both traditional craftsmanship and innovative flavours.
What you'll be doing:
• Running all aspects of the store – from customer service to stock management
• Breaking down whole beasts in-house
• Smoking, brining, and crafting premium smallgoods – hams, bacon, pastrami, kabana, and more
• Experimenting and creating new flavours that excite customers
• Maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Contributing to our social media presence with engaging content
What we're looking for:
• Trade qualified butcher with proven experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• A creative streak and genuine passion for meat craft
• Confidence in smoking, curing, and value-adding
• Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys sharing their craft with customers
