Clinical Consultant: Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist

About your new role:
As a Clinical Consultant, you'll shape best practice in paediatrics across a national team, support clinicians to grow in confidence and capability, and directly impact families through expert guidance.
- Work within the Concentric Clinical Quality Development (CQD) team alongside senior mentors and national discipline leaders, driving clinical excellence and expanding access to quality care across Australia
- Be part of a high-performing CQD team spanning multiple states, collaborating across disciplines (OT, Speech, Physio, EP, PBS & Psych) to drive innovation in therapy.
- Be the voice of clinical quality, promoting evidence based practice and establish a culture for learning and growth across the entire company
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation in paediatric occupational therapy for complex cases, championing multidisciplinary teamwork
- Deliver 1:1 supervision, mentoring and group learning to early-career and senior OTs.
- Support therapists with evidence-based practice, goal setting, and family-centred care.
- Work collaboratively across disciplines to support holistic outcomes for children and families.
- Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of occupational therapy interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- You will be responsible for achieving clinical targets relevant to your clinic and provide input into therapy plans, raise clinical concerns, provide solutions and support team members with learning and development activities.
Leadership & Innovation:
- Contribute to the implementation of paediatric practice frameworks, protocols, and specialist services (e.g. sensory integration, early intervention, feeding clinics).
- Contribute to internal upskilling initiatives and national mentoring programs.
- Participate in research, evaluation or service design projects within the paediatric team.
- Represent OT in clinical governance discussions and support continuous quality improvement.
- Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- A Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Occupational Therapy including experience working with children under the age of 2
- Current APHRA registration
- Valid Australian driver's license
- Substantial Experience within the Paediatric NDIS Field
- Experience Mentoring / Supervising Clinicians
