Overview
The Information Services Branch (INSB) consists of four Business Units: Data Management Unit, Freedom of Information Unit, Information Release Unit and the Records Management Unit. The Policy, Planning, Audit and Training Officer is accountable to the Manager Information Services Branch for the provision of professional support in the areas of business planning, audit and risk management, policies and procedures and training and staff supervision.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate Branch planning requirements, undertake reviews and projects, and prepare or review Branch policy and other significant proposals.
* Perform audit and quality assurance roles and conduct staff inductions.
* Assist with budget reviews, evaluation and report preparation, and support management of Information Services Branch activities.
Special Conditions
* The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
* The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
* Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
* The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum.
