Agile Delivery Manager
Location:MACQUARIE PARK, NSW – Hybrid 3 days on site
Contract: 6 months- strong potential to extend
Role Overview:
The Agile Delivery Manager will operate in a hybrid role, balancing responsibilities as both a Scrum Master and Project Manager. They will work within a Scrum framework, leveraging tools such as Jira and Confluence to drive program delivery. This role requires close engagement with multiple teams including Legal, Risk, and Privacy, managing stakeholders at various levels to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of initiatives.
Program Scope
The Delivery Manager will oversee 3–4 concurrent programs of work, which include:
1. Vendor – Managed Services Solution (New Wave)
o Voice Express platform (billing, invoicing, number porting).
o Integration of middleware and onboarding of new products.
o Establishing the connective infrastructure across platforms.
2. Risk Initiatives
o Delivering large-scale initiatives aimed at reducing backlog.
o Addressing current risk and regulatory breaches.
o Creating a clean backlog for the following year.
Each initiative runs for approximately 3–4 months, with the Delivery Manager accountable for driving execution through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating sprint cycles and agile ceremonies.
• Perform Project Manager duties: forecasting, planning, and driving delivery outcomes.
• Manage multiple stakeholders (Directors, Senior Directors, VPs, and cross-functional teams).
• Coordinate across legal, risk, and privacy teams to align on compliance and governance.
• Knit together multiple workstreams into cohesive, successful deliveries.
• Oversee vendor relationships (specifically managed services and Voice-related initiatives).
• Ensure risk/regulatory compliance and backlog remediation.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
• Robust, resilient, and self-sufficient with the ability to handle senior stakeholders.
• Experienced in Agile delivery with exposure to waterfall methodologies.
• Strong background in enterprise-level projects and managed services.
• Familiar with Voice/telecommunications platforms and vendor-managed solutions.
• Skilled in stakeholder management at senior executive levels.
• Adept at managing risk/regulatory initiatives to ensure compliance.
• Able to hit the ground running and execute effectively.
Success Measures
Success in this role means delivering high-quality, compliant programs that reduce risk backlog, enable vendor-managed solutions, and drive forward the company's enterprise product delivery initiatives.
