Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research Manager to drive clinical research strategy, oversee operations and manage a high-performance team in our Wicking Dementia Centre.
The role involves delivering vision, strategy and operations for clinical research related to neurological conditions. Key responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring their work aligns with research priorities and institutional goals, overseeing all aspects of clinical trials, ethics and regulatory compliance, stakeholder communications and budget management.
As a Clinical Research Manager, you will establish and strengthen relationships with stakeholders including patients, clinicians, contract research organisations, pharmaceutical industry members and funding bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify funding opportunities and develop grant applications
* Develop project plans and take responsibility for financial management and reporting
* Manage staff and ensure their work aligns with research priorities and institutional goals
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field, preferably within a research or clinical environment. You must have demonstrated leadership and management experience, excellent communication skills, experience in project management and strategic planning, and a strong ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes.
