The Kangaroo Island region of National Parks and Public Lands is looking for Cleaners to join their team. The cleaners will be working at Flinders Chase National Park and facilities. The cleaner provides a range of quality cleaning services to ensure all visitor facilities and amenities, administration areas, visitor centre facilities and heritage accommodation are presented and maintained to a consistently high standard.

Contract
This is a merit pool; applicants may be offered a position based on organisational needs. 2 x casual roles – 12 month contract.
Responsibilities
Perform a range of quality cleaning services to ensure all visitor facilities and amenities, administration areas, visitor centre facilities and heritage accommodation are presented and maintained to a high standard.
Location and status
Location: 5223 - FLINDERS CHASE. Job status: Long Term Contract. Eligibility: Open to Everyone.
Remuneration
GSE3 – $29.10 min – $29.41 max per hour (plus 25% casual loading in lieu of annual leave and sick leave).
Special conditions / requirements
Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid working visa allowing work in Australia.
Current Class C driver's licence and ability to safely operate a 4WD is essential.
Current First Aid Certificate is desirable.
Regular weekend and public holiday work required; 8 days per fortnight.
Uniform required during working hours and while representing the department.
Wear protective clothing in accordance with departmental policy.
May be required to work outside normal hours.
Pre-employment National Police Check is required.
