What You Will Be Responsible For
- Define and implement the group-wide data architecture vision aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the migration from legacy and on-premise systems to contemporary, cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Harmonize data models, reporting structures, and semantic layers across all CME markets.
- Architect and oversee scalable data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and semantic layers.
- Ensure efficient and secure ETL/ELT processes and seamless integration of internal and external data sources.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for reliability, performance, and security.
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks covering data quality, classification, retention, and access control.
- Ensure full compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Collaborate closely with compliance, IT, and information security teams at both group and local levels.
- Partner with Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, accessible data for analytics and decision-making.
- Support business intelligence, non-financial reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Act as a key partner in vendor and technology discussions related to data tooling and infrastructure.
- Monitor global trends in data architecture, analytics, and AI integration.
- Promote the adoption of modern technologies and best practices across all markets.
- Lead or contribute to cross-country projects aimed at enhancing data capabilities and reporting standards.
What You Will Need to Succeed
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, ideally within multi-country or matrixed organizations.
- Proven leadership in data platform modernization, cloud migration, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and data governance.
- Familiarity with AI integration into data workflows (e.g., semantic search, predictive analytics).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align technical vision and business goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English; other CEE languages are a plus.
