.Application Specialist - Engineering Support page is loaded## Application Specialist - Engineering Supportremote type: Hybridlocations: Truganina, Victoria, Australia: AUS Motion Truganinatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R26\_0000006634Motion is seeking an Application Specialist – Engineering Support (Bearings & Condition Monitoring) to deliver technical sales, engineering expertise, and condition monitoring solutions to our valued customers.**About the Role****Reporting to the Services Manager, this role is responsible for making technical sales and providing engineering support to both internal and external customers.****You will:*** Provide advice, training, and problem-solving support across our range of Bearing and Condition Monitoring (CM) products* Visit customer sites to assess applications and deliver services* Assist in the implementation and delivery of condition monitoring projects and programs* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders* Identify and implement improvement strategies that drive innovative, solutions-focused outcomes**Key Responsibilities:****Customer Service & Sales*** Manage and grow an existing customer base* Engage new and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products* Achieve agreed sales revenue and gross profit targets for condition monitoring products and services* Provide technical sales and product support across Power Transmission and Bearing solutions**Marketing & Business Development*** **R**ecommend, launch, and implement new products* Plan and support strategic marketing initiatives* Represent Motion at trade shows, expos, and industry events**Reporting & Analysis*** Monitor competitor activity and market potential* Provide detailed reports on customer needs, opportunities, and performance**About You****You will ideally have:*** A Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant trade/technical background* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a sales aptitude* Excellent product knowledge and customer management skills* The ability to identify and meet customer requirements effectively* Strong time management and strategic planning capabilities* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and CRM experienceMotion Engineering and Service is a division of the Motion Australia business that operates throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
