Housing Victoria | Jobs (www.dffh.vic.gov.au/jobs) THE ROLE The Technical Authorisation Officer is responsible for assisting the Housing Call Centre (HCC) in evaluating queries from contractors employed by the Department who carry out vacated and responsive maintenance works on the department's public properties and community buildings. Technical Authorisation Officer will use their trade and building skills and knowledge to review and accurately process contractor claims ensuring appropriate maintenance processes are undertaken, measured against agreed contractual and service delivery standards. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Provide high quality service to contractors in relation to vacated and responsive maintenance works on the department's public properties and community building.
* Assess contractor queries for vacated and responsive maintenance services and make decisions from a range of established policies and procedures, legislation and regulations specific to the role.
* Review and accurately process contractor claims ensuring appropriate maintenance processes are undertaken, measured against agreed contractual and service delivery standards.
