Swan Towing is highly regarded as the No.1 Towing Company in WA. Established in 1987 and consistently expanding, we provide Towing, Recovery and Transport solutions for various industries such as Transport, Mining, Civil, Government, Transport, Defence and Insurance as well as the private sector throughout WA. With Depots based in Midvale, Bunbury and Port Hedland.
We currently have a split position available for a Semi Tilt - Tilt Tray Driver based at our Bunbury depot. This role is permanent, full time, Monday to Friday. The role includes some weekday overtime and rostered weekend overtime. THIS IS NOT A DIDO ROLE, APPLICANT MUST LIVE IN THE AREA.
Your day to day workload would vary greatly from attending breakdowns or accidents, trade transfers including plant & machinery, licensing jobs and many more. The successful applicant would be joining the most professional Recovery Company in WA and drive a state of the art Heavy Recovery Under-lift Unit and late model Tilt Trays.
The applicant should consider the below before applying:
* Preferably live in the Bunbury or Surrounding areas to allow for quick response times.
* Be flexible with rosters and understand that our industry includes some callouts after hours, weekends and Public Holidays.
* Weekday hours can range from 8hrs to 15hrs when on call.
* Will need to be available for rostered weekends, 2 per month.
Phone, uniform and on the job training will be provided. Attractive salary and performance based bonus system.
Requirements:
* Towing Industry Experience highly regarded but not essential.
* Minimum licence requirement MC.
* DG & MSIC licence an advantage.
* LF and EWP licence an advantage.
* Experience with loading and unloading machinery.
* Must be fit and be able to pass a Commercial Drivers Medical Assessment as per MRHVA standards.
* Must be able to provide a Current Police Criminal and Traffic Clearance
* Must have sound knowledge of Heavy Diesel mechanics.
* Good knowledge South West region.
