We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Design Environment Specialist.
The Opportunity
This role focuses on maintaining and updating design standards, templates, menus, and libraries to ensure consistent and efficient drafting outputs across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and updating CAD standards, templates, and menus across disciplines.
* Supporting practice areas and project teams with the development, implementation, and maintenance of design standards and templates.
* Ensuring the upkeep of CAD libraries, details, and outputs remain consistent and aligned with business needs.
* Working with practice areas and project teams to contribute to system documentation and checklists for drafting workflows.
About You
This is an ideal role for an experienced design coordinator looking to continue growing their skills and experience with ambitions to have an impact on our design environment.
* Degree or advanced diploma in drafting, engineering design, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in design drafting or coordination (AutoCAD and Civil/Structural preferred).
* Exposure to design standards, libraries, and template management.
* Experience supporting multi-disciplinary design teams (desirable).
* Working knowledge of design platforms (AutoCAD essential; knowledge of Civil 3D, 12D, or similar desirable).
* Working knowledge of design customisation (e.g., menus, templates, and/or lisp routines).
