Executive General Manager Finance and IT
Holyoake is a leading provider of counselling and support services for people impacted directly and indirectly by alcohol, other drugs, and mental health concerns. We operate through five key locations in Victoria Park, Midland, Northam, Narrogin, and Merredin, and employ over 115 staff.
We are currently recruiting for the newly created position of Executive General Manager Finance and IT, which will be part of our growing Executive Team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer on a full-time basis, this role offers a significant opportunity to create meaningful community impact within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
What you'll be doing
The Executive General Manager Finance and IT will oversee the Finance, Information Technology, and Asset functions, while also supporting Compliance, Governance, and Risk. Leading a team of three, the successful candidate will play a pivotal leadership role in ensuring robust financial, IT, and risk governance across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience: (key selection criteria)
* Strong understanding of the NFP sector, preferably in the human services sector.
* Demonstrated experience leading complex finance and IT structures.
* Knowledge of, or experience working with NFP Awards, particularly the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS).
* Strong knowledge of financial auditing and acquittal processes.
* Sound knowledge of compliance and governance best practices.
* Demonstrated experience managing asset portfolios.
* Demonstrated experience managing risk portfolios.
* Ability to implement change management projects.
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Ability to successfully influence and implement change.
* Capacity to lead proactively and make sound executive business decisions.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise accurate judgement, liaise consultatively, and develop and implement initiatives.
* High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including conflict resolution skills.
* Demonstrated ability to promote positive workplace culture across the organisation.
* Ability to influence with a person-centred approach.
* Exceptional levels of Emotional Intelligence and Integrity.
* Impeccable time management and personal organisational skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and finance and payroll systems.
* Highly skilled in preparing spreadsheet models using Excel.
* Current First Aid Training Certificate.
* GAICD or MAICD qualifications.
* Completion of relevant training programs and courses.
Criteria for successful applicants:
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Current National Police Clearance.
