As a dedicated member of our Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) team, you will work in our busy emergency department with experienced vets and nurses.
We seek a qualified Cert IV veterinary nurse with at least 2 years of experience, ideally in emergency or a busy general practice clinic.
You will provide exceptional nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage through their CARE journey.
Responsibilities include assisting with anaesthesia, procedures, and surgery; performing diagnostic sample collection and processing tests;
communicating with pet owners, providing guidance, addressing questions, and offering support during highly emotional times.
Collaborate with the team to manage challenging cases and contribute to continuous learning through daily rounds and tutorials.
