Job Description
Join Our Team Cater Care is currently seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to provide exceptional service to residents at our esteemed aged care residence located near the heart of Byron Bay.
Morning shifts from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM / Afternoon shifts from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
What This Role Involves:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
- Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
- Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
