Position: Crane Operators & Riggers

Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of mobile cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient load management and work practices
- Operate mobile cranes (up to and including 220t) safely and efficiently
- Perform advanced rigging duties, including installation, maintenance, and dismantling of rigging systems
- Collaborate with construction teams and site supervisors to meet daily project needs
- Ensure compliance with rigging procedures and slinging techniques
- Develop and follow lift plans and permits as required
- Identify hazards and implement control measures aligned with industry safety standards
- Inspect cranes and lifting equipment to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain lifting equipment in a clean, operational, and safe condition
- Contribute to the development and signing of Safe Work Method Statements
What You'll Need
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing
Highly Regarded Skills & Qualifications
- CN, C6 or CO High-Risk Work Licence (Crane Operation)
- Basic or Intermediate Riggers High-Risk Work Licence
- Truck Driver’s Licence (HR, HC, or MC)
- Other High-Risk Work Licences (WP, DG, RB, LF, SB)
- Secure Work at Heights certification
- Leading Hand or Supervisory experience
- Construction experience operating cranes and performing rigging duties
- Ability to read and interpret layout and general arrangement drawings
