Aspen Medical is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager – Business Development to lead our global business development function and drive sustainable revenue growth across Australia and international markets.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this senior leadership role shapes and executes Aspen Medical’s business development strategy, manages key global client relationships, and leads a high‑performing team of senior business development leaders.
About the position
* Drive sustainable revenue growth and achieve agreed annual revenue targets across all regions
* Develop and deliver the global business development strategy and annual BD business plan
* Lead, coach and mentor a high‑performing global Business Development team (Director level and below)
* Build, maintain and report on a strong, transparent sales pipeline and forecasting framework
* Oversee the development and delivery of major tenders, proposals and commercial opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, and international partners
About you
* Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and managing complex, long‑cycle sales environments
* Significant senior leadership experience in business development, sales or commercial management
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop innovative pricing and commercial models
* Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
* (Desirable) Postgraduate qualifications and experience in government, healthcare, digital health and/or international markets
