Mid Level Fullstack Java Engineer. (3+ years of experience.)
Location: Sydney (3 days in office).
Rate: Up to $850 daily (based of experience).
Looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer for a 12-month contract (with high probability of extension) with a leading global bank.
This role is a blend of 70% new feature development and 30% high-level support.
Key Responsibilities
* Front-End Excellence: Develop the frontend using Angular (some React knowledge is also a nice to have.)
* Back-End Power: Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
* Support & Stability: Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting complex production issues and implementing long-term bug fixes to ensure system uptime.
* CI/CD Integration: Work within a DevOps culture, managing deployments through automated pipelines.
* 3+ years in Java and the Spring Framework.
* 3+ years with Angular (React is ok too), TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
* Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and basic SQL tuning.
* Prior experience in a Production Support or SRE capacity is highly valued. You should be comfortable jumping into a codebase to diagnose a live issue.
