Job Description: As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will assess their strengths and challenges, develop personalized plans, and implement treatments to promote functional independence and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS THROUGH ACTIVE LISTENING AND EMPATHETIC SUPPORT DURING INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
* PERFORM COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENTS TO IDENTIFY STRENGTHS, CHALLENGES, AND FUNCTIONAL IMPACTS OF CLIENT PRESENTING PROFILES
* DEVELOP AND EXECUTE CLIENT-CENTRED, STRENGTHS-BASED PLANS, REGULARLY MONITORING AND ADJUSTING AS NEEDED
* WORK CLOSELY WITH OUR TEAM, SHARING INSIGHTS, PARTICIPATING IN CASE DISCUSSIONS, AND PROVIDING EDUCATION TO ENSURE OPTIMAL CLIENT CARE
* MAINTAIN ACCURATE CLIENT RECORDS, CARE PLANS, AND SESSION NOTES FOLLOWING ETHICAL GUIDELINES AND PRIVACY REGULATIONS
* PRIORITISE AND MANAGE CASeload EFFECTIVELY
Required Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy is required, as well as current APHRA registration and own professional insurance. Preferred skills include strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise and manage caseload, and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
