Rototech & Pope Group: an Australian manufacturer, supplier and service provider of Pope Electric Motors, Pope Ex certified hazardous area motors, VFD speed controllers, soft starters, gear motors and custom engineered control / starter packages.
We are seeking an Electrical Technician with some experience working within any of the following areas.
* Motor control Packages
* VFDs and soft starters
* Electric Motor Packages
* Small installations, commissioning and servicing.
We supply to a broad range of industries including mining, heavy Industry, food / beverage, HVAC, pumping, OEM's & end users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, program and service Variable Frequency Drives (VSD / VFDs).
* Carry out industrial service electrical work in-house and on-site as needed.
* Assemble, wire, and test new control panels & specialised electric motors.
* Provide customer phone support and on-site commissioning.
* Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations.
Desired experience and skills:
* Electrical license & driver's license.
* Experience with either electric motors or control panels or VFDs.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
* Good communication skills for interaction with customers & suppliers.
