DFP Recruitment have proudly partnered with a Federal Government agency who are seeking a
**Clinical Liaison Officer **for their Brisbane team. The opportunity is for an immediate start for a 12 month period with the potential of extension of up to 3 years.
**Key responsibilities of the role are**:
- Provision of nationally consistent clinical advice to national and regional staff, demonstrating sound clinical skills to ensure positive client outcomes and effective care coordination service delivery
- Coordinating responses to clinical escalations and working with teams to prepare written responses
- Liaison with other services to support the regions in the management of complex and at-risk clients.
- Actively promote a culture of continuous quality improvement through monitoring, analysis and feedback of implementation data, clinical activities and client outcomes and identification of system issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of relevant Practice and Governance policies, Accreditation, projects and communities of practice. Contribute to the development of advice, briefings, papers, submissions and correspondence for use in decision-making forums.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director to coordinate triage and provide immediate support to vulnerable clients eterans and their families.
**To be successful you will have**:
- Qualifications must be that of a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Nurse with mental health experience.
- Qualified Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
- Mental Health Accredited Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Working with Children (WWCC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencing in the position.
**In return you will receive**:
- A competitive hourly rate of $55 - $65 per hour + super
- Hybrid model (mix of home and office)
- Full time hours - Monday to Friday (job sharing will be considered)
- 12 month contract with the view to extend of up to 3 years
