The Opportunity
As an Indirect Tax Manager, you'll play a key role in advising clients on GST and indirect tax matters, helping them manage risk, meet compliance obligations, and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll be exposed to a wide range of industries and high-profile clients while working with emerging tax technologies.
You'll gain exposure across:
* Advising clients on complex GST and indirect tax issues
* Supporting ATO engagements and managing technical matters
* Conducting assurance and due diligence reviews
* Leveraging data analytics and tax technology solutions
* Partnering directly with senior stakeholders on multiple projects
This role is based in Brisbane with genuine flexibility – including hybrid working and the option for reduced hours.
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
* 4+ years' experience in GST/indirect tax, ideally from a Big 4, mid-tier, or law firm environment
* Strong technical knowledge in indirect tax and experience managing complex client matters
* Exposure to ATO engagements and risk management
* A passion for using technology to enhance tax solutions
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
