We are a small, family company with some large projects underway leading to significant expansion and as a result are looking to grow our close knit team.
THE ROLE - PVC FENCE FABRICATION TEAM MEMBER
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabrication Team Member to join our growing team. Our fabrication team takes over the client journey from our sales team and works closely with the client to ensure that the final product that is delivered to their door meets their needs exactly. No gate or fence design is too hard and our attention to detail and craftsmanship is reflected in the positive customer feedback we receive so this role is integral to ensuring we maintain that high benchmark.
Working in a fast moving environment, you will perform a variety of tasks relating to the manufacture PVC gates and fencing, including:
* Designing and fabricating our PVC fences and gates based on drawings and measurements from clients and sales staff.
* Picking and working with various plastic and steel components
* Using a variety of hand tools, saws, CNC routing and other machinery to cut, prepare and assemble plastic and steel components.
* Packaging of fence and gate components for safe delivery to our clients across Australia.
* Loading and unloading customer orders while answering any installation questions
* Working with timber and nail guns to build custom stillages and pallets
* Opportunities for training in programming and design for the right person.
* General warehouse duties, loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
The successful candidate ideally will have a high attention to detail, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, be able to work independently and in a team, be skilled in the use of power tools and related equipment, have strong time management skills and be a self-starter focused on achieving results. Our Fabrication Team works closely with our clients so exceptional level of customer service is required, both face to face and over the phone. Given the fast paced nature of our company trade and/or fabrication experience will be highly regarded, but additional training will be provided to the successful candidate. The fabrication team is a friendly supportive environment looking to train/work with a reliable, hard working candidate.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a cabinet making / timber or steel fabrication background who is looking to get involved in a new market sector. Alternatively, someone with a strong willingness to learn, work hard to become a skilled operator and valuable team member.
