Administrative Officer (Level 3) – RPA Radiology
Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney, is a leading hospital providing a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services.
RPA Radiology requires a frontline administrative officer to support clinical teams at the main building and satellite sites (Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and IRO).
The role delivers essential face-to-face support to patients, manages appointment registration, handles general and clinical enquiries, escalates reports, and assists healthcare providers with various administrative needs.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and book imaging appointments for outpatients, ensuring alignment with their clinical care plans.
Provide face-to-face support to patients, including appointment registration and responding to general and clinical enquiries.
Escalate reports required for patient care and assist staff with administrative needs.
Manage a range of imaging services including interventional and neurointerventional procedures, MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and X-rays.
Ideal Candidate
Experience working in a similar support role in a health setting, including reception, bookings and telephone enquiries.
Broad understanding of health and medical terminology.
Motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and work under minimal supervision.
Ability to work flexible days for part-time employees.
