Maryvale Private Hospital is seeking a suitably Theatre Technicians to join our friendly, supportive Operating Theatre Team who pride themselves on delivering high quality patient care.
Reporting to the Operating Theatre Manager the Theatre Technician assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of the nursing and medical staff. The Theatre Technician is exposed to a broad range of complex acute and medical services that Maryvale Private Hospital provides.
* Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
* Operating Theatre Technician experience
* Exceptional Interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel.
* Strong teamwork focus.
* Effective time Management or organisational skills.
* Commitment to quality and risk management.
* Willingness to achieve Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance
* Experience using relevant Operating room Equipment
* Basic knowledge in physiology and anatomy

Remuneration
Remuneration is paid in line with Maryvale Private Hospital Support Services Enterprise Agreement (2023)
* Casual: Hourly rate (based on experience) between $40.19 - $41.08 per hour inclusive of casual loading
