We're looking for a dynamic, future focussed and innovative digital transformation leader to head our Information Communications and Technology (ICT) directorate and spearhead our journey toward becoming a fully digital, data-driven agency.
This position is classified under the Public Service, 'Senior Executive Service' and will be offered under the terms of up to a 5-year contract, with the possibility of extensions.
This selection process may be used to fill other similar at level vacancies that arise within twelve (12) months.

About the Role In this role, you will drive ongoing digital transformation strategies, projects and governance to deliver modernisation to DFES' technology systems and landscapes to support emergency services across Western Australia.
You will also lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee a range of complex projects and programs, and provide high-level strategic advice, guidance and collaboration to senior leadership including a range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring ICT solutions meet current and future organisational and State Government priorities.
This role is pivotal in shaping our technology strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration of digital solutions across all business functions.
To be successful in this role You will need to have experience in ICT and leading digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on improving digital services and operational efficiency.
Have a proven track record in managing change across diverse stakeholder groups and ability to influence, build buy-in, drive adoption and solve complex problems.
Have a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation.
