On-the-job training and support - receive ongoing training from a Practice Management Educator and study support via a Traineeship Support Provider. UNE Course Recommended Pathways Certificate III in Business (Medical Administration) (1 year) Suitable if you have completed Year 10 or a Certificate II qualification. Certificate IV in Medical Practice Assisting (2 years) Suitable if you have completed Year 11 or a Certificate III qualification and are interested in clinical skills to assist with treatment procedures. Additional course requirements include approximately 15-18 hours of study per week, good communication skills, motivation for independent learning, and internet access.
