About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our service delivery team as a civil maintenance worker on afternoon shift in Happy Valley, Adelaide.
As a civil maintenance worker, you will be responsible for safely delivering physical field aspects of corrective and planned work to SA Water's water and wastewater assets operating across the Southern suburbs of Adelaide.
Key responsibilities include:
* Organizing and completing daily work tasks including fault finding, maintenance of assets
* Ensuring response and actions to jobs are achieved in the relevant KPI timeframe
* Using multiple apps and software including work order apps, geographical information maps GIS, time-sheeting, accessing documentation etc.
* Maintaining tools of trade, including vehicle, hand tools, plant, and equipment
* Confidentially engaging with customers in a professional manner
* Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations always related to health and safety
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
* Hold a current driver's licence
* Skilled in use of hand power tools / small machinery
* Enjoy working outdoors
* Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
* Complete background checks; police clearance, medical and references
