Party Entertainer / Children’s Host Job Description
At BRICKS 4 KIDZ®, we create unforgettable birthday parties where kids laugh, build, imagine and celebrate using LEGO® Bricks.
We’re looking for fun, confident and reliable Party Entertainers who love working with children and know how to bring energy, structure and joy to a room full of excited kids.
This role is perfect for uni or TAFE students, performers, educators, OSHC staff, childcare workers or anyone who thrives entertaining children and creating magical experiences.
As a Party Entertainer, you’ll host our weekend birthday parties and special events across Sydney’s North Shore, leading games, activities and LEGO® build experiences while ensuring every child has a fantastic time — and every parent feels confident and supported.
This is a casual role, with most shifts on weekends and some availability for school holidays and special events.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for:
* Hosting high-energy, fun and well-organised birthday parties for children aged 5–12
* Creating a safe, inclusive and exciting environment where all children feel welcome
* Leading structured LEGO® activities, games and party flow
* Managing groups of children confidently and positively
* Setting up and packing down party equipment
* Communicating professionally with parents and venue staff
* Representing the BRICKS 4 KIDZ® brand with enthusiasm and care
About You
You are someone who:
* Loves working with children aged 5–12 and understands how to engage and manage them positively
* Is energetic, outgoing, confident and fun — but also responsible and reliable
* Can speak clearly to groups of children and keep their attention
* Is organised, punctual and dependable
* Can follow party run-sheets and timing schedules
* Is comfortable leading small groups independently
* Has reliable transport and is willing to travel to party venues
* Ideally has experience in one or more of:
* Children’s entertainment
* OSHC / childcare / teaching / coaching
* Performing, drama, sport or recreation
* Party hosting or event work
Requirements
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Willingness to travel to different venues (approx. 50%)
* Available on weekends
* Comfortable working in person with children and families
