Landscape Maintenance Leading Hand & Labourers
Brisbane (Outer South-East / Redland Bay Area)
We are currently partnering with a growing landscape maintenance company seeking an experienced Leading Hand along with skilled Labourers to join their team. These roles are offered on a labour hire / contract basis with a strong view to permanent employment for the right candidates. You will be working across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout Moreton Bay, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.
Start Date: After the Easter break
About the Roles
Leading Hand
* Oversee and lead a small maintenance crew
* Ensure quality, safety, and productivity on site
* Liaise with management and assist with reporting
Labourers
* Support day-to-day grounds maintenance activities
* Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality site outcomes
Key Responsibilities
* Ride-on and push mowing
* Brush cutting and edging
* Hedging and general garden maintenance
* Mulching trees and garden beds
* Weed spraying (ACDC Licence required)
* Tree health care and general plant maintenance
* Identifying weeds vs. desired plants (horticulture knowledge highly regarded)
* Completing service reports and site documentation
What We're Looking For
* Current driver's licence (manual preferred)
* White Card
* ACDC Licence (required)
* Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or similar
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
For Leading Hand applicants: demonstrated experience supervising crews is highly regarded.
