About the Position
A Senior Product Designer with Avanade will partner with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to lead discovery, define product direction, and design end‐to‐end experiences for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
* Lead discovery and definition for a product stream, including research planning, contextual inquiry, synthesis, journey/task flows, information architecture and product direction.
* Define product design approaches that accelerate digital adoption, improve user outcomes and support business cases for investment.
* Design end‐to‐end product and omnichannel experiences across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C environments, including AI‐enabled and machine‐human interactions where relevant.
* Create and govern design artifacts in Figma or similar, establishing design‐system patterns, prototypes, behavioral annotations, acceptance criteria, and delivery handoff materials.
* Guide Product Designers and Experience Designers to ensure decisions are usable, accessible, and delivery‐ready.
* Partner with Design Engineers to test feasibility, create rapid coded or AI‐assisted prototypes, and reduce handoff risk before delivery teams commit.
* Help clients understand short and long‐term implications of product, design, AI and technology shifts across policy, people, process and platform dimensions.
* Contribute to business development opportunities, pursuits, reusable assets and communities of practice.
Qualifications
* 3–5+ years of product design, UX, experience design, digital consulting or agency experience in complex product, platform or enterprise environments.
* Strong product design capability across discovery, research, synthesis, interaction design, UI craft, visual design, prototyping, usability testing, design systems, accessibility and delivery handoff.
* Working knowledge of experience canvas tools such as FigJam, Miro, or Mural, and creative production tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
* Consulting skills including facilitation, stakeholder management, storytelling, workshop design, written communication and client‐ready presentation.
* Demonstrable skills in analyzing complex problems experienced by medium to large‐scale organizations from strategy to implementation.
* Track record of delivering project workstreams and client deliverables through coordination, focus on outcomes and empathy for people across different backgrounds.
* Ability to explain complex technologies, frameworks and design decisions in non‐technical language.
* Proficiency in AI‐assisted design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Make, UX Pilot, Lovable, Replit, Cursor, Google Stitch or similar, with judgment around evidence, accessibility, privacy, responsible AI, feasibility and design quality.
* Undergraduate degree in design, human‐computer interaction, business consulting, computer science or related field, plus relevant certifications or professional learning.
