The Role of a Remuneration Specialist
About the Opportunity
Due to the retirement of our current Head of Remuneration, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Remuneration professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving and managing our remuneration strategies and frameworks, variable pay plans, employee data integrity, analysis and reporting. This position reports to the Chief People Officer and will frequently interact with the Board, Group Executives and other senior stakeholders.
You will support all aspects of remuneration and people data, analytics and reporting. Your key responsibilities will include developing, implementing and maintaining remuneration frameworks, policies and processes to support our strategic goals and values and ensure frameworks are equitable, competitive and aligned with industry benchmarks and best practices.
You will provide expert, consultative remuneration advice to P&C Business Partners, Group Executives, People Leaders, P&C team members and Payroll to address complex queries and ensure strategic alignment acting as a trusted advisor for all remuneration related matters.
You will manage external salary survey submissions and analyze benchmarking data to ensure our pay structures remain competitive and equitable. You will also lead the planning, execution and governance of the annual remuneration review process, including salary adjustments and communication strategies.
You will have proven experience presenting at board level and be able to prepare and present detailed remuneration reports, recommendations and updates to the Board and relevant committees, ensuring alignment with governance requirements.
You will oversee remuneration governance activities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including superannuation, taxation and industry regulations.
