Job Description
Your role at our organization involves playing a critical part in the professional development of all caregivers. You will work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Coordinator, department managers and caregivers to deliver, implement, assess and evaluate learning and development programs (including Graduate Programs) and activities that reflect best practice standards to achieve excellence in service.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on clinical support within designated wards, directly enhancing patient care, safety and outcomes.
* Support and provide guidance to caregivers to meet individual learning and development goals and achieve departmental objectives.
* Collaborate with Department Managers, other learning and development caregivers and relevant key stakeholders to support learning and development activities locally.
* Assist with orientation/induction as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have Registration as a Health Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and demonstrate commitment to ongoing personal and professional development, as evidenced in a Continuing Professional development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in small group teaching and group presentations.
* Ability to motivate, support and encourage caregivers to further develop professionally.
