Senior Investment Analyst, Equities
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Management team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
* Support senior Equities Portfolio Managers and the Head of Equities, Pacific in manager selection and portfolio construction across Mercer Pacific Equity funds.
* Coordinate and produce analysis and materials to support key investment decisions for stakeholders including the Pacific CIO, Pacific Investment Committee, and Mercer's Global Equity Committee.
* Lead and participate in investment manager meetings as part of due diligence on existing and potential investment solutions.
* Manage queries and communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a transparent investment management function.
* Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and stay current with industry developments through research and continuous learning.
What you need to have:
* Undergraduate degree required; post-graduate qualification or professional certification preferred.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within multi-manager funds, superannuation, asset consulting, fund management, or research.
* Strong knowledge of investment markets and asset classes.
* Experience with Factset and BarraOne preferred.
* Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
* Well-developed written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
