Work Eligibility:
Must be able to travel to different locations on Sunshine coast, including the wineries in the hinterland of Sunshine Coast. Own car preferred to able to get to restaurant locations for events.
Teaching Artist responsibilities:
Sip & Paint workshops
Lead up to 7- 30 customers step-by-step through a featured painting
Create a fun atmosphere for all participants
Have an outgoing personality and entertain a crowd
Assist participants during the event
Set up and break down the event
Communicate with staff and be a team player
Take photos of event
Promote social accounts and other workshops and classes
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Being a professional and talented teaching artist who is ready, willing, and able to work with clients.
Outgoing personality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and entertain a group of adult beginner painters in a social atmosphere
Must own a smartphone capable of getting on the internet and/or digital camera
Part time hours: 4 -8 hours per week
Shifts mainly Friday afternoon, Friday night, Saturday Afternoon and night. Week night shifts as required.
Position for assistant and instructors
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $27.00 assistant rate, $32.00 per hour groups over 15 people. Plus 10.5% super
ABN registered Artists are welcome to work contract and would be paid the sum total of $34.91 per hour Teacher rate, and assistant without teaching $29.46 per hour. This is just inclusive of the super being paid out upfront as part of hourly rate.
