Melvory is a fast-growing, award-winning Australian skincare brand founded by a pharmacist-mum and built on the belief that natural, effective skincare should be accessible to the whole family. What began at a kitchen bench has grown into a nationally recognised brand with two warehouses, a retail space, and a passionate team behind it.
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service & General Admin Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity and support both our customers and day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn, adaptable, and committed to our brand's growth.
About the Role
This is a desk-based, customer-service-first role, with basic administrative support as part of daily operations. The majority of your day will be spent responding to customers online, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and well-guided.
This role suits someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly in writing, and is comfortable working alongside AI tools and established systems. A passion for beauty and skincare is a BONUS.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service (Primary Focus)
* Responding to customer enquiries via email, live chat, social media DMs and comments
* Providing thoughtful product recommendations and clear guidance
* Resolving customer issues with empathy, professionalism, and care
* Turning customer questions or concerns into positive customer experiences
* Maintaining accurate customer records and following up where required
General Administration (Basic Support)
* Providing basic day-to-day administrative support
* Assisting with order issues, returns, and exchanges
* Supporting internal coordination between teams
* Preparing simple documents and internal communications
* Assisting with general office tasks as required
Additional Tasks (Depending on Experience)
* Assisting with social media scheduling or basic copywriting
* Supporting special projects and internal initiatives
* Assisting with retail customer experience when needed

About You
* Strong written communication skills (clear, warm, and professional)
* Enjoys desk-based, online customer interaction
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage daily tasks
* Calm, solution-focused, and customer-oriented
* Comfortable learning and using new digital systems
* Experience in customer service, retail, e-commerce, call centre, or junior admin roles is highly regarded.

What We Offer
* Full-time role with stable hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
* Hourly rate of $25 – $32 per hour + super, depending on experience
