About Central Queensland Mental Health Service:
We provide specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to a large population of central Queensland. We cover Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Biloela, Moura, Woorabinda and Central Highlands districts.
Job Description
* Provide high quality psychiatry services to consumers across the continuum of Forensic Mental Health settings, including prison, court, watch house, inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate effective mental health care within a multidisciplinary environment, demonstrating extensive skills in psychiatric practice.
* Ensure enrolment and maintenance of ongoing Continuing Professional Development programs with appropriate bodies.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Psychiatry with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
