ConsultANZ is looking for Site Engineers based anywhere in Australia for a FIFO role to WA with a top-tier piling contractor. This role will oversee a large mining project with the piling package valued at over $60M. RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend construction meetings to stay informed on site progress and upcoming activities. Manage and coordinate piling works, including Secant Walls and Bored Piles with Segmental Casing. Oversee contract performance, ensuring safe and efficient construction practices. Identify and resolve construction-related issues quickly. Interpret contract terms, scopes, and engineering requirements relevant to piling works. Monitor and report on productivity, progress, and resource allocation. Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards on-site. Supervise piling subcontractors and labour crews, ensuring quality workmanship. Report any incidents, issues, or delays to project management. Support quality assurance processes, including inspections, reinforcement checks, and concrete pour sampling. Contribute to performance reviews and training needs assessments for site crew personnel. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 2–5 years’ demonstrated site-based piling experience. Strong technical knowledge of piling techniques including Secant Walls and Bored Piles with Segmental Casing. Ability to work in FIFO conditions and adapt to remote project environments.
