Description
Job Summary:
The Beverage Server (non-gaming) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by efficiently delivering beverages to guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. This role ensures that all guests receive high-quality service with a flair of promotional modeling while maintaining a clean and well-stocked beverage area such as a restaurant, lounge, or entertainment venue.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Monitor that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service
2. Oversee table maintenance, ensuring cleanliness before, during, and after service
3. Monitor side work and sanitation checklists to meet local health code standards.
4. Crosstrain in other departments
5. Other duties as assigned
6. Maintains monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards
7. Observes activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinary
8. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
Customer Service:
9. Must be able to deal with high volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat and cheerful
10. Builds guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back
11. Capable of handling routine customer complaints and incidents and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of management personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships
12. Empowered to resolve guest disputes quickly and efficiently up to a pre-determined amount. Otherwise, ensuring a manager is notified immediately to resolve the situation.
13. Utilizes open body language, politely speaks with and assists guests as needed
14. Observes all activity within the assigned area offering assistance to all guests
15. Observes activity and reports anything that is out of the ordinary
16. Ensures all guests are kept in play by providing friendly and helpful service at all interactions
17. Assists in maintaining a spotless facility by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left by guests
Qualifications
Qualification:
18. Must be at least 18 years or older and have the ability to obtain and retain a KRCG Gaming License.
19. One year of direct customer contact experience, preferred
20. Previous money handling experience preferred
21. Display professionalism; excellent verbal and written communication skills
22. Professional appearance as outlined in the Gilley's Team Member Handbook
23. Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
24. Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
