Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to provide high-level administrative support to staff, volunteers, and brigades in a rural fire management setting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide confidential administration services to support staff, volunteers, and brigades
* Set priorities and monitor workflows to manage human resource and finance administration activities
* Coordinate RFS medal and awards nominations, official functions, diary management, and secretariat duties as required
* Monitor compliance with policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Government purchasing qualifications (level 1)
* Knowledge of or experience in the use of human resource systems, finance systems, database management, and reporting
* Knowledge of or experience working with volunteers and/or within a volunteer organisation
