We provide tailored solutions to reduce risk to aviation safety while supporting aviation capability and promoting sustainable wildlife management practices.Our multidisciplinary team of scientists are based in Adelaide, Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. About the role Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role based in Adelaide, reporting to the Operations Manager and supporting operations in all states. While primarily office-based, the role includes occasional on-site fieldwork, and occasional travel to urban or remote locations within South Australia and interstate.The role includes a broad range of projects including -Aviation wildlife hazard managementWildlife strike risk mitigation in aviation and other emerging sectors About you You have a foundation in environmental consulting, a strong interest in wildlife and aviation, and the initiative to support operational delivery across a range of scientific and project-based activities.You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can work independently and collaboratively, and have a high level of adaptability, initiative, and attention to detail. You're eager to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Support our consulting and operations team -Drafting technical reports, proposals, and presentations and incorporating special dataPreparing briefing notes and project scopes (with guidance)Transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights through analysis and visualisation.Preparing tender and project submissionsLearning and applying GIS tools (training provided)Assisting with business developmentSupporting the preparation of safety documentation and general ISO task requirements Requirements Tertiary qualification in wildlife biology, ecology, or environmental scienceMinimum 2 years experience in environmental consulting or similar project-based rolesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 11Demonstrated skills in technical report writing, data collation and interpretation, and project documentation and communicationSuccessful National Police ChecksWe highly regard - qualifications specialising in wildlife or ecological science; some experience in GIS, AI tools to improve reporting and/or wildlife/bird identificationWork with a passionate, science-led team on high-impact projects and benefit from professional development.
