About the role
Central Coast Freight is seeking an experienced HC/MC Truck Driver to join our team. As a full-time truck driver based in Tuggerah, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the Central Coast/Sydney/Newcastle regions and beyond. This is a crucial role that plays a key part in the success of our growing logistics operation.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operate heavy combination (HC) and multi-combination (MC) vehicles to transport goods
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues
* Maintain accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks and delivery paperwork
* Ensure the secure loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery locations
* Adhere to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
* Valid HC/MC driver's licence with a strong driving record
* Extensive experience (minimum 3 years) operating heavy vehicles in the road transport industry
* Ability to follow instructions
* Exceptional driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
* Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
* Experience with interstate driving (preferred but not essential)
