In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering engineering standards, technical assurance, and asset management for signalling and electronic control systems across the NSW transport network.
This role will see you provide expert technical advice, contribute to standards development, and support digital engineering and sustainability initiatives. You'll be involved in technical investigations, audits, and performance assessments to maintain asset integrity and safety, while advancing capability uplift within the team.
You will pioneer improvements in safety, reliability, and efficiency in a complex, multi-modal transport environment, ensuring compliance with TfNSW standards and regulatory requirements.

About you
Your strong technical knowledge of railway signalling and electronic control systems, formed across engineering and operational roles in transport or related industries, will see you deliver robust solutions, overcome technical challenges, and implement processes that lead to safe and efficient asset management. You're recognized as a trusted technical authority, skilled at diagnosing faults and recommending improvements, and experienced in applying system engineering methods, managing standards, and leveraging emerging technologies such as CBTC and ETCS.
