Consultant Year 1-9: $412,161 - $523,436 per annum*
Sessional Year 1-9: $790.09 - $1,003.40*
The above salary is as per WA Health System Medical Practitioners AMA Industrial Agreement 2024 (inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation, and PD allowance). This is subject to the assessment of qualifications, clinical skills and years of practice.
Wheatbelt Mental Health Service delivers high-quality community mental health care including comprehensive assessment and treatment for people of all ages. Our clinical programs include Aboriginal Mental Health Program (All ages), Adult Mental Health Program (18‑65 years), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program (0‑18 years), Seniors Mental Health Program (65+ years) and Youth Mental Health Program (15‑24 years).
The Wheatbelt Mental Health Service is a team of Mental Health Professionals including Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Child and Adolescent Professionals, Aboriginal Workers and Community Mental Health Nurses.
We’re looking for passionate and experienced Consultant Psychiatrists in CAMHS and Adult Psychiatry to join our dynamic teams in Northam Hospital. You will be required to work occasionally across other Mental Health sites such as Narrogin, Merredin, and Gingin in Wheatbelt.
This is an opportunity to lead, innovate, and shape the future of mental health services for adults, children, adolescents, and youth.
You’ll report to the Director of Clinical Services – Mental Health and collaborate with a team of consultant psychiatrists and registrars who value shared expertise and collective problem‑solving.
