Our State Operations Manager oversees a network of stores, with direct reports and over 10,000 team members. You'll devise and execute effective strategies to optimise sales growth, customer experience, team engagement, safety performance, and business productivity.
The role requires creating, championing, and overseeing the delivery of compelling business plans and strategic initiatives. This includes developing and monitoring market trends, risks, and competitor landscape to adjust strategy as required.
Key accountabilities include building a high-performance team culture where strategic purpose is clear, customer experience is core, and talent is unleashed, engaged, and recognised. Establishing and cultivating effective business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is also crucial.
To succeed in this role, you'll need demonstrable retail operations leadership experience, a proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and strong commercial acumen. Results-oriented and solutions-focused with experience in managing a large P & L and driving sustainable improvement across key performance metrics.
